“Jede Stadt braucht ihren Helden” (Every City Needs Its Hero)

by Philipp Löhle premiered on October 1st, 2021 at Theater Chemnitz, Spinnbau, directed by Matthias Huber. The production was realized in cooperation with the Master’s program Bühnenbild & Szenischer Raum at TU Berlin.

As part of this collaboration, I was responsible for the costume design, developing sketches and concepts while completing my Master’s studies. The process included working closely with the Werkstatt team at Spinnbau to bring the designs into production.

Working within the professional theatre context of Chemnitz was a unique and formative experience, combining academic research with practical stagecraft.
